Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bank Laundry Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to make sure our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings. By making sure each resident has clean clothing and bedding, you'll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home. It's a great way to get a sense of what it takes to keep everything running smoothly in our homes and it could open up other opportunities as you develop. ABOUT YOU To join us as a Bank Laundry Assistant you'll need a personable approach, good practical skills and determination to provide an exceptional laundry service. Just as importantly, you should be reliable and committed to making a positive difference to our residents. In return we'll provide all the training you need to thrive. REWARDS PACKAGE As well as competitive pay, you can look forward to a role that offers true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, we take the growth of everyone who works for us seriously. As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary. If you'd like to use your attention to detail and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you'd expect for your loved ones, this is a rewarding place to be. #2003
