You will influence architecture, engineering standards and delivery decisions, helping teams build secure, scalable and supportable platforms. • Lead the design and evolution of secure, large-scale AWS platforms • Set technical direction across Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD • Assess new technologies and improve engineering standards and code quality • Own complex technical and delivery risks through to resolution • Translate technical decisions for senior, client and non-technical stakeholders • Develop engineering capability through mentoring, delegation and knowledge sharing LEAD PLATFORM ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS • Extensive hands-on Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience • Expert-level AWS and Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform • Strong production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux and CI/CD • Evidence of leading architecture, technical strategy or complex engineering delivery • Experience influencing stakeholders across teams, programmes or client environments • A track record of mentoring engineers and raising technical standards • Ability to remain technically engaged while leading and delegating effectively Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance.
