Cygnet Group are looking for a confidentLearning Disabilities Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team atCygnet Cedars
Youll be working42 hours per week, including days/nights and weekends,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Cedars.
Cygnet Cedars is a 23-bed high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge. We accept emergency referrals and the team are experienced in managing them quickly and efficiently to ensure the transition for each individual is as smooth as possible.
Within the hospital are two step-down single occupancy flats. With their own lounge, kitchen, en-suite bedroom and their own front door this allows for further community integration and focus on daily living skills.

Your day-to-day at Cygent Elms
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
You are
• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
• An excellent communicator & a good team player
• Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
• Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
