Learning Facilitator (Roofing/Brickwork)

£15 per hour | September Start
Are you a qualified construction professional with a valid forklift licence and a passion for supporting learners to develop their practical skills?
We are seeking a Learning Facilitator to join a leading FE College from September. This hands-on role will involve supporting learners within the workshop environment, assisting with the preparation and movement of equipment, and helping to create a safe, engaging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Support learners undertaking practical Roofing and Brickwork activities.
• Assist teaching staff within the workshop environment.
• Prepare, maintain and organise tools, materials and equipment.
• Operate forklift equipment safely to move materials and resources around the workshop.
• Promote health and safety standards at all times.
• Provide encouragement and guidance to learners as required.
Essential Requirements
Level 2 Qualification in Roofing and/or Brickwork
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or Level 2 equivalent
Valid Forklift Licence
Experience working within the construction industry
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
