Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Area: Hackney, East London Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Agency Work Salary: £90-£110 per day Working Hours: 08:20 - 15:40 Brief Description: We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a high-achieving secondary school in East London this September. About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide targeted support to students inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key role in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. We're Looking for a Dedicated Candidate to: • Support students in lessons across a range of subjects • Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups • Assist students with additional learning needs • Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement • Encourage students' confidence, independence, and participation • Collaborate with teaching staff to support student progress Requirements: • Previous experience working with young people (desirable) • A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • A genuine interest in education and supporting students • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
