Lecturer of Health, Wellbeing and Social Care Manchester / Leeds £51,000 + benefits Full-time | Permanent About the Role Reed FE are working with a rapidly growing Higher Education provider to recruit an experienced Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join their academic team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes, supporting a diverse student cohort and contributing to student success within a dynamic HE environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging teaching across Health & Social Care modules (Level 4–6) • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with HE standards • Provide academic and pastoral support to students • Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement • Participate in quality assurance processes and academic meetings • Maintain accurate academic records and reporting Essential Requirements To be considered, you must have: • A Master’s degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject • Current UK Higher Education teaching experience • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCert HE, PGCHE, HEA or equivalent) • Experience delivering teaching at undergraduate level • Strong understanding of UK HE frameworks and academic standards Desirable • Industry experience within Health & Social Care • PhD or working towards one • HEA Fellowship • Experience supporting student progression and outcomes Important!
