Are you an experienced Lettings Officer looking for your next temporary opportunity? We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing organisation for an experienced Lettings Officer to support a busy housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and has a strong background in social housing lettings. The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing the lettings process from end to end, ensuring properties are allocated efficiently and new tenancies are created smoothly while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants. • Complete tenancy sign-ups and ensure all documentation is accurate. • Review and process tenancy notices. • Allocate properties through Choice Based Lettings (CBL). • Carry out pre-tenancy assessments to ensure applicants are suitable for tenancy. • Work closely with internal teams to minimise void turnaround times. • Provide a professional, customer-focused service throughout the lettings process. About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll have: • Previous experience working as a Lettings Officer within the social housing sector. • Proven experience conducting viewings, tenancy sign-ups, reviewing notices, allocating properties via Choice Based Lettings (CBL) and completing pre-tenancy assessments. • A strong understanding of the social housing lettings process. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • The ability to manage a busy workload and work independently. • Experience using housing management systems is advantageous.
