Level 2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) | Warrington | September Start The Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Warrington for a caring, committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider school team, you will play an important role in supporting the pupil's learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day. You will help implement individual support strategies, adapt learning activities where appropriate and encourage the pupil to access all aspects of school life. This role will also involve providing personal care where required. Applicants should be confident delivering personal care with dignity, sensitivity and respect, in line with the pupil's individual needs and school procedures. We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or an equivalent recognised qualification). • Has previous experience supporting children, ideally within a Primary School setting. • Has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). • Demonstrates patience, empathy and a nurturing approach. • Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. • Works well as part of a team and follows individual support plans effectively. • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
