Your new role: As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will have responsibility for a small group of key children within the pre-school provision. You will support their learning and development through engaging activities, observations and assessments, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting a small group of key children within the pre-school setting • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on children's progress and development • Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS Framework • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues • Completing observations and maintaining accurate learning records • Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment • Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development What you'll need to succeed: • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) • Previous experience working with pre-school-aged children • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework • Experience carrying out observations and assessments • A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS What you'll get in return: • Day rate of up to £110 per day in addition to holiday pay • Access to the Hays App, where you can access your timesheets, holiday booking system, free training, well-being course. • Benefits of working with your own personal consultant. • Receive £250 in high street vouchers every time you recommend a friend to us • Local work available to you in the West Midlands.
