Job description

My client is seeking a Litigation Administrator to join their growing Litigation department in Sevenoaks, Kent. This role is integral to the smooth running of litigation matters, providing high-quality administrative support while ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent client service throughout the lifecycle of each case. This opportunity would suit an individual with previous legal administration experience, ideally within a litigation team, who is looking to further develop their career within a professional and supportive law firm. The Role You will be responsible for providing administrative support across a busy litigation department, including: • Opening, managing and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements • Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court forms • Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and third parties to assist with the progression of matters • Maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system • Carrying out compliance and AML procedures where required • Managing diaries, appointments and key litigation deadlines • Assisting with billing, invoicing and other general administrative duties • Monitoring the progress of matters and providing administrative support to fee earners • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales Requirements • Previous experience within a legal administration role is essential • Experience supporting a Litigation department would be advantageous • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and client care skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems • Professional, proactive and able to work effectively within a busy team Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.
