Litigation Solicitor

Litigation Solicitor (NQ-2PQE) • Annual Salary: £40k - £55k • Location: Trowbridge (Multi-site firm) • Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a Litigation solicitor with a focus on property law to join our team. This role involves working across multiple sites in Trowbridge and offers a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will have experience in property litigation and a strong desire to further develop their legal skills in a dynamic environment. Day-to-day of the role: • Assist team in all stages of litigation processes from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. • Research relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to help determine the specifics of a case. • Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. • Prepare for trials. • Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts and mortgages. • Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court. • Help other lawyers during trials • File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel. • Call clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a lawyer, ideally within property litigation. • Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to property law. • Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
