Live-in Housekeeper / Cook – Surrey Salary: £45,000–£47,000 DOE Hours: Tuesday to Saturday | Approx. 8:00am–6:00pm (with breaks) Accommodation: Lovely separate live-in accommodation provided (the family are open to a domestic couple for this role too) A lovely family in Surrey are looking for an experienced, professional and personable Live-in Housekeeper/Cook. Working alongside an established hands on House Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the home to an exceptional standard whilst preparing fresh, healthy family meals. This is a varied, hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys both housekeeping and cooking and is happy caring for animals. Key responsibilities include: • Daily housekeeping, cleaning and presentation of the home • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and linen care • Caring for fine furnishings, antiques and delicate household items • Preparing nutritious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals for the family • Menu planning, grocery shopping, food storage and kitchen organisation • Batch cooking and meal preparation for family use • Preparing the home for guests and occasional entertaining • Assisting with feeding the family's animals and walking the dogs • Supporting the House Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the household The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience working within a private household • Strong housekeeping skills with excellent attention to detail • A genuine passion for home cooking and preparing simple healthy family meals • A proactive, flexible and discreet approach • Confidence caring for animals, including dog walking • A full UK driving licence This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a dedicated Housekeeper/Cook looking to become part of a welcoming household where high standards are valued and appreciated.
