Locally Employed Doctor (FY2 Equivalent) – Oncology

This is a rotational programme for Locally Employed Doctors to have the opportunity to work in a variety of medical specialties over a 12-month period. We know the importance of supported learning opportunities and are proud of the encouraging environment that our team cultivates we promise departmental teaching, MDT meetings, grand rounds and journal clubs as well as allocated lunchtime training and study leave. We have an excellent record of doctors progressing on to formal training programmes. We have an active research unit, working in partnership with the University of Portsmouth, and currently have a number of projects developed by our junior colleagues achieving presentation and publication.
