Locum Consultant Radiology Acute Hub

The activities and development of the Imaging Services reflect those of the Hospital with integration of undergraduate and postgraduate training and service commitments. This service includes complex imaging for inpatients referred across the range of general and tertiary specialties as well as trauma, Emergency Department and Day-case unit imaging. The post holder will primarily be expected to provide consultant input for the acute CT service which covers trauma, inpatient and day-case CT imaging and to join the diagnostic on-call rota. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the imaging department, support the daily clinico-radiological trauma meeting while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff, medical students and associated professional groups.
