Hours: 36 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm and short day Friday
About the Company
My client is a globally recognised manufacturing business that supplies high-quality technical products and solutions to customers across a wide range of industrial sectors. They support businesses worldwide through advanced manufacturing processes, supply chain expertise, and market-leading products.
Due to increased business demands, they are looking for an experienced SAP Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis and support key operational activities.
The Role
As a SAP Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring customer orders, purchasing activities, logistics administration, and SAP data are processed accurately and efficiently.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, has excellent attention to detail, and is confident using SAP to support business-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
• Process and maintain customer orders accurately within SAP.
• Ensure all customer information and order data is up to date.
Procurement Support
• Raise and monitor purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to support smooth operations.
Logistics Coordination
• Support the dispatch of goods by coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Monitor delivery schedules and assist with shipment administration.
Invoicing
• Generate accurate invoices promptly following dispatch.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures.
Customer Communication
• Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries.
• Provide updates on orders, deliveries, and product availability.
SAP Data Management
• Create and maintain part codes, stock records, and master data within SAP.
• Assist with data accuracy and ongoing system maintenance.
Internal Support
• Provide support to colleagues with stock enquiries, SAP-related queries, and data requests.
General Administration
• Carry out a variety of administrative duties to support wider business operations.
What We're Looking For
• Previous SAP experience is essential.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience within administration, customer service, procurement, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Proactive approach and ability to work well as part of a team.
