Logistics and Procurement Coordinator (18-month contract) - Chesterfield - c£37,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be exclusively partnering with a growing engineering business based in Chesterfield that is looking to appoint a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join its Supply Chain team on an 18-month maternity cover contract. What's On Offer • 12pm finish on Fridays • Friday WFH • 5% pension contribution • 25 days holiday + statutory holidays • Christmas shutdown • Retail and lifestyle discounts • Death in service x 2 • Study support • On-site parking The Role • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across road, sea and air freight • Manage international import and export activity, ensuring compliance with customs regulations • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers and packing providers to ensure on time deliveries • Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation • Monitor freight performance, resolve delays and identify continuous improvement opportunities • Raise and manage purchase orders for spares and selected components The Person • Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain or procurement role • Experience coordinating international imports and exports • Strong understanding of customs processes and shipping documentation • Excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills About Elevation Elevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long term, successful careers.
