Logistics Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Logistics Operator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area. Duties:- • Prepare manual or scanned entry packing lists. • Prepare orders for dispatch. • Prepare weekly stock checks. • Ensure all orders are ordered and booked accurately. • Accountable for looking after customer’s specific requirements. • Produce and send packing lists to customers. • Ensure customer record reporting is kept up to date at all times and effective customer communication is maintained. • Arrange deliveries for storage accounts. • Create monthly invoices for storage accounts. • Record stock locations and work closely with Warehouse Assistants to ensure goods are correctly located. • Manage Key Accounts where required. • Propose new ideas to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Skills Needed:- • Previous experience within logistics or warehouse operations. • Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures. • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
