LSA For a Year 1 Pupil - September 2026 Start

Prospero Teaching are looking for an individual with SEN experience to work in a Primary School in Newmarket area to start September 2026. This will be supporting a non-verbal Year 1 pupil with particular focus on communication and interaction. Experience is essential. The role is ongoing temporary. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS • Location - Newmarket * Position - Learning Support Assistant * Contract or position start date - September 2026 * Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing * Contract type - Long-Term Temporary * Full time/part time - Full time * Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day * Hours -8.30 am - 3.15pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience with SEN/SEMH is ESSENTIAL • Previous TA/LSA experience is desirable • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
