Job description

The clinical fellow will work under the supervision of Ms Rajvinder Khasriya, Ms Kiren Gill and Mr Dhanuson Dharmasena. 1. Assist Ms Rajvinder Khasriya, Ms Kiren Gill and Mr Dhanuson Dharmasena in seeing the patients in the Whittington hospital. 1.1. Make decisions on management, identify complications and arrange for appropriate responses to be organised 1.2. Carry out urine microscopy and arrange for appropriate responses to be organised 1.3. Help with urogynaecology clinics and urodynamics 1.4. The post holder will have the opportunity to assist Ms Khasriya, Ms Gill and Mr Dhanuson Dharmasena in the Urogynaecology theatre list 2.This is a clinical academic unit, and as such the post holder will be expected to assist with clinical research studies in Urogynaecology and Chronic UTI taking place in the unit. This will include; 2.1. Working as a sub-investigator on Urogynaecology and Medical Urology research studies as necessary 2.2. Working within guidelines of Good Clinical Practice and Research Governance 2.3. There will be scope to undertake a PhD research project 3.Attend conferences relevant to your area of work 4.Give presentations of research / clinical work at departmental meetings and Womens Health audit meetings. 5.Attend and present at monthly MDT meetings There are no on-call commitments associated with this post, though these can be accommodated depending on the appointed candidate.
