Machine Operative (Fixed Late Shift)

MACHINE OPERATIVE (Fixed Late Shift) EVESHAM £15.90 per hour We have an opportunity for a Machine Operative to join a small, family run engineering business near Evesham. The role is working Monday to Friday across fixed shifts, 2pm-10:30pm. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn new skills as you'll work across a number of specialist machines, learning new skills. During the initial training period, you will be required to work days (likely 2 weeks). BENEFITS • Free on-site parking • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) • Optional overtime • Christmas shut down RESPONSIBILITIES As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for: • Working across a variety of machines within a factory environment. • Setting up machines according to specifications. • Using hand tools and reading gauges. • Ensuring the quality of all products. • Maintaining health and safety standards. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE To be considered for the role of Machine Operative, you must have: • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, working with metals. • Experience using a variety of hand tools. • A basic level of maths knowledge is essential for converting measurements. • Due to the location, own transport is required. • A good level of English including spoken and written.
