Machine Operator

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Telford. For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering; • Basic hourly rate of £12.85 per hour • Temporary ongoing position, which could lead to permanent for the right person • Overtime rates paid at x1.5 for working Saturdays, and Double Time for Sundays • Working on a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Wednesday 6am-6pm and Thursday 6am-2pm THEN the following week is Nights 6pm-6am Monday to Wednesday • Free Parking The Role – Machine Operator: • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to • Monitor the SAP computer system to ensure the machine plan is followed • Read and follow instructions along with other data available to ensure the machine is fed with the correct materials • Maintain good housekeeping and effective planning to ensure the machine does not stand due to lack of forward planning • Ensure materials are at the machine and readily available • Complete all documentation as required and communicate using the shift handover book together with verbal communication when taking over and handing over the shift • Follow procedures and tasks that have been given out by the full time staff • Report all machine faults as they occur • Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Management What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator: • You MUST have experience operating Machinery within a FMCG environment • Able to follow instructions, along with health & safety guidelines Key skills or similar job titles; Print Assistant, Machine Operator, Print Machine Operator, Extrusion Commutable From; Telford, Hortonwood, Stafford Park, Halesfield, Bridgnorth, Wolverhampton, Market Drayton, Newport, Shrewsbury For further information about this and other positions please apply now This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff (Telford) who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business.
