Maintenance Engineer 4 Days on / 4 Days off - Day Shift
6am - 6pm
£38,480 per annum

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Permanent Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Swindon, Wiltshire. Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early
• Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment running at peak performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly and efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and improve machine reliability
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and operational procedures
Who will fit in well:
• Solid experience in Mechanical Engineering and maintenance practices
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Ready to work day shifts from 6am to 6pm on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off basis
