Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Witham | £35,000 PA | Mon-Fri 7am-16:30 | Permanent Our client is a leading UK manufacturer, delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to major projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their modern manufacturing facility in Witham, Essex. Key Responsibilities: • Provide maintenance support to production teams • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults • Fault find on industrial machinery and equipment • Assist with dismantling and reassembly of production equipment • Carry out improvement works and scheduled maintenance activities • Ensure machinery operates at maximum efficiency • Call outs – Rotated within the team • Some weekend working is required when there is machine downtime Candidate Requirements: • Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) • Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment • Strong electrical fault-finding skills • Mechanical maintenance experience • Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexible approach to support operational requirements Qualifications: Ideally you will hold one or more of the following: • Level 3 Diploma / NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering • 18th Edition qualification • City & Guilds 2382 • Full clean driving licence Excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a growing business offering competitive salary, overtime opportunities, and long-term career prospects.
