Maintenance Engineer Purity Brewing The Brewery, Upper Spernall Farm, Spernall Lane, Great Alne, Warwickshire, B49 6JF Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (flexibility required) Contract: Full-time, permanent Join the team behind exceptional beer At Purity Brewing, we are passionate about brewing great beer and creating a workplace where people can grow, contribute, and take pride in what they do. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team and help keep our brewery operating at its best. This is a hands-on role offering plenty of variety, technical challenge, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on operational performance. The role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of brewery equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our operations. Key responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the brewery. • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults. • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions. • Maintain, repair, and improve brewery and process plant equipment. • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency. • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in line with health and safety standards. • Manage and support external contractors working on site. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. About you We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys problem solving and takes pride in delivering high standards of work. Essential • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment. • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. • Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement. Desirable • Experience within brewing, food, beverage, FMCG, or process manufacturing environments. • Electrical qualifications, including 18th Edition. • Knowledge of brewery or process plant equipment. • Experience working with pumps, motors, conveyors, filling lines, or control systems.
