Maintenance Engineer Willenhall to start – moving to Bilston Salary: £43,000 per annum (paid hourly) + enhanced overtime after 40 hours Permanent | Full Time ROTATING SHIFTS (MORNINGS/AFTERNOONS/NIGHTS) The OpportunityAn established and growing manufacturing business based in Willenhall is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its busy engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment where you'll play a key role in ensuring machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment. • Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime. • Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults. • Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems. • Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently. • Work closely with production teams to maximise machine uptime. • Record maintenance activities accurately. • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site. • Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures. About You • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment. • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills. • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics and automated machinery. • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • A proactive approach with a commitment to keeping production running efficiently. • A recognised engineering qualification would be advantageous.
