Youll be working40 hours a week at Chaseways working as a mobile maintenance operative within care homes for residents with learning difficulties within the Herefordshire and Essex regions completing day to day compliance, reactive repairs and planned maintenance works. Located in the heart of the community in Sawbridgeworth, Chaseways is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with moderate / severe learning disabilities, who may have associated complex needs. Your day-to-day... • Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service • Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building work • Maintain plant, services & vehicles in working order • Comply with s afe working practices & report faulty equipment & potential hazards • Travel to other sites & on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal working hours • Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices & fire emergency lights Why Cygnet?
