The Job you will do: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to equipment breakdowns across plant, facilities, and utilities. • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and process equipment. • Calibrate and test plant equipment, alarms, and instrumentation in line with CMMS schedules, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and close out work orders using the CMMS. • Monitor plant performance using systems such as BMS and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency. • Manage spare parts inventory to support operational continuity. • Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard. • Administer permit-to-work systems, including LOTO, hot work, and general maintenance permits. • Plan and coordinate equipment shutdowns in conjunction with management and production teams. • Perform general facility maintenance, housekeeping, and upkeep of plant services, including wastewater treatment systems where applicable. • Participate in on-call and out-of-hours support as required for critical plant issues. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant reliability, safety, and operational performance. About you: • You will be a time-served maintenance technician with proven experience within manufacturing/ engineering. • Ideally, you will be multiskilled in bias and capable of working on a range of electrical and mechanical systems. • Ability to interact with suppliers, internal customers and external contractors. • Results-driven • Continuous Improvement mindset • Excellent problem solving & analytical ability • Compliance focused • Ability to demonstrate good computer skills • Good team player who can use their initiative
