Management Accountant 12 Month FTC

I'm currently partnering with a leading global media business to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team within a well-known organisation operating at the forefront of the media industry. You'll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, play a key role in financial reporting and business partnering, and contribute to the continued success of a fast-paced, creative business. The RoleReporting into the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for: • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting the month-end close process. • Producing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments. • Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentary. • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles. • Partnering with budget holders to provide financial insight and challenge. • Assisting with year-end reporting and audit requirements. • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting. • Supporting ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects. About YouYou'll ideally be: • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with atleast 1-2 years PQE • Experienced in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role. • Confident preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. • An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with stakeholders. • Highly organised with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. • Advanced in Excel, with experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite being advantageous.
