Our client is an expanding, nationally recognised commercial organisation experiencing continued growth and success. As part of their ongoing investment in finance, they are looking to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant to join their established team based in Basildon.

The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will support multiple entities across the group and play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial information.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Producing monthly management accounts for multiple business entities
• Performing detailed variance analysis, including actual vs budget, income and expenditure, and aged debtor reporting
• Supporting group month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Preparing and submitting income flash reports
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
• Completing FCA regulatory returns (RMAR)
• Supporting finance transformation projects and process improvements
• Overseeing purchase ledger and cashbook activities
• Providing meaningful financial analysis to support business decision-making
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (part-qualified or qualified)
• Around 3+ years' experience within a Management Accounts position
• Experience working within an FCA and/or PRA regulated environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
• A proactive approach with a desire to improve processes and add value
• SOX knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
