Management Accountant

Management Accountant Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid Working) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing and highly successful business based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for a broad and varied role that offers exposure across management accounting, financial accounting and finance business partnering. Working within a high-performing finance team, you'll gain involvement in all aspects of the finance function while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider business. The role would suit an ambitious accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a business that can offer genuine development opportunities and exposure to senior decision-makers. The RoleKey responsibilities will include: • Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary • Production of budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting • Analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast • Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit requirements • Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments • Assisting with VAT and other statutory reporting requirements • Maintaining and developing financial models and forecasting tools • Finance business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders The CandidateThe successful candidate will: • Be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA • Have recent experience within management accounting or a similar finance role • Possess strong technical accounting knowledge and a good understanding of financial reporting • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Have the confidence to work closely with stakeholders across the business • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail • Have advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial models Salary & Benefits • £50,000 - £55,000 salary • Annual bonus scheme • Hybrid working • Leeds City Centre location • Generous holiday entitlement • Pension scheme • Excellent career development opportunities • Broad exposure across management accounts, financial accounts and finance business partnering This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified management accountant seeking a varied role within a growing business where they can broaden their experience and play an important role in the continued success of the organisation.
