What's in it for you? • Salary up to £40,000 • Genuine opportunity to develop your career • Supportive and collaborative finance team • Join a successful and growing manufacturing business • Varied role with excellent exposure across finance and operations • Opportunity to make a real impact within the business The RoleReporting to the Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, delivering insightful financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales, providing financial analysis that helps shape business decisions and improve profitability. Key Responsibilities • Producing monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary. • Completing month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. • Analysing manufacturing costs, margins and profitability. • Maintaining standard costing and supporting inventory accounting. • Providing financial analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making. • Assisting with VAT returns, payroll and statutory reporting. • Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities when required. • Working closely with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls. • Assisting with year-end audit and stock count activities. About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, building relationships across the business and using financial information to drive improvements. You'll ideally have: • Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent). • Previous experience producing management accounts. • Experience within a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of costing, stock and financial reporting. • Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs and SUMIFS. • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. • Great communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business. • Experience using ERP or MRP systems would be an advantage.
