Job description

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected organisation within the property sector. We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant to join the finance team in a role that combines technical accounting responsibilities with team leadership. You will take ownership of the monthly management accounts process while providing guidance and support to junior members of the team, ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls. Working closely with an experienced Manager, you will receive ongoing support and mentorship while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial activities and stakeholder interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking to further develop their leadership skills while remaining hands-on within a collaborative and supportive finance environment. Skills needed • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / QBE • Strong experience with month-end processes, including preparation of management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities. • Strong understanding of service charge accounting, including budgeting, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and month-end processes. • Previous experience working within social housing or the wider property sector.
