Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Liverpool City Centre | Up to £45,000 | Permanent Are you a part-qualified Management Accountant looking for a role where you can take ownership, influence the business, and work closely with senior leadership? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established international business providing an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit finance team in a broad, hands-on role supporting a multi-site business. This position would suit someone who enjoys taking responsibility, thrives in a varied role, and wants exposure beyond producing management accounts. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day finance function of one of the group's key operating businesses. You'll partner with operational teams and play an important role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting commercial decision-making. Key responsibilities include: • Producing monthly management accounts • Preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts • Managing the purchase and sales ledger functions • Reviewing aged debt and overseeing payment approvals • Ensuring timely client billing and supplier invoice processing • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls • VAT returns, treasury activities and foreign currency transactions • Supporting internal and external audits • Driving compliance and continuously improving finance processes For this Management Accountant role, you'll ideally be: • Studying towards ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) • Experienced within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role • Confident producing management accounts with strong reconciliation skills • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently • An advanced Excel user with excellent attention to detail • A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships across the business In this role as Management Accountant, you will get: • Salary up to £45,000 • Study support • 25 days holiday • Company pension • Cycle to Work scheme • Broad, commercially focused role with genuine ownership • Exposure to an international, multi-site business • Long-term career development within a stable and growing organisation If you're looking for a varied management accounting role where you'll have real responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
