Management Accountant

We are pleased to be working with a specialist manufacturer based in Manchester that are looking to onboard a Management Accountant, they have an extremely well established finance function and are looking for a candidate who wants to get involved within projects alongside the day to day of Management Accounts. Management Accountant – Responsibilities: • Completion of the Month End Procedure • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts pack with analysis and commentary • Cost and variance analysis • Weekly revenue recognition analysis • Stock Analysis • Quarterly VAT returns • Budgeting • Supporting completion of projects cost to complete spreadsheets • Payroll cover – Weekly and monthly • Supporting annual audits • Cash book reconciliations Management Accountant – Candidate Spec: • ACCA, CIMA or QBE within Manufacturing • Working knowledge of ERP systems • Microsoft office and Excel skills – Must be an advanced user on Excel • Previous experience of working within Manufacturing/Engineering or Construction • Previous experience of working in a similar role Management Accountant – The Package: • Salary c£50k • Hybrid working after probation • On site parking If you are on the market for a new role, give me a call!
