Management Accountant

Management Accountant Norwich £40,000 + study support Keeler Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well established and successful business in the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation in a broad and commercially focused role. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision making and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function. The role This is a varied position with responsibility for producing monthly management accounts, managing payroll and VAT, supporting the year end process and providing financial insight to support business performance. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting and internal controls. Key responsibilities include: • Preparing monthly management accounts and associated financial reporting • Monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts • Managing payroll and ensuring statutory compliance • Preparing quarterly VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations • Supporting the year end accounts process and external audit • Producing KPI reporting and financial analysis • Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function • Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance • Supporting and developing members of the finance team About you • Fully qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience • Previous experience in a management accounting role • Strong understanding of payroll, VAT and financial reporting • Excellent Excel and analytical skills • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the business • Experience of Power BI or similar reporting tools would be advantageous This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established business where you can make a genuine impact, working in a varied role with exposure across all areas of the finance function.
