Description • Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis. • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate financial planning. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to aid strategic decision-making. • Assist in year-end financial processes, including liaising with external auditors. • Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance. • Contribute to process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: • A recognised qualification in Accounting or Finance. • Proven experience in preparing and analysing management accounts. • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel. • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements. • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
