Management Accountant

Our client based in Staffordshire is recruiting a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their business. The role requires 5 days on-site and is paying circa £45k. What you'll do: • Prepare monthly management accounts with accuracy, ensuring all financial data is presented clearly for internal review. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to gather relevant information. • Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and investigating variances to maintain high standards of financial integrity. • Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement in a manner that supports decision-making. • Work together with other finance professionals to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations at all times. • Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts, liaising with auditors as required to facilitate smooth year-end procedures. What you bring: • You possess proven experience working towards a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA, demonstrating commitment to professional development. • Your interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments, fostering an inclusive atmosphere. • You have strong analytical abilities that allow you to interpret financial data sensitively and provide meaningful insights for decision-makers. • Your attention to detail ensures accurate preparation of management accounts and reliable reconciliation of financial records. • You are comfortable using accounting software packages and Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes, showing dependability in handling data. • You demonstrate empathy when responding to queries from stakeholders, making complex information accessible for all audiences. • You are committed to continuous learning through participation in training sessions and sharing knowledge with others. • You bring experience supporting month-end close processes and statutory account preparation within a finance team environment.
