Management Accountant

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will support the production of management accounts, financial analysis, and reporting across four group companies. Key Responsibilities • Assist with the timely and accurate processing of accounts across multiple group companies. • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts. • Reconcile key trial balance accounts, including payroll, PAYE, accruals and prepayments. • Ensure sales and purchase ledgers remain accurate and up to date. • Assist with financial reporting, analysis and performance monitoring. • Complete bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. • Ensure correct CIS treatment and Domestic Reverse Charge VAT is applied where required. • Support credit control activities and highlight any collection issues. • Assist with month-end and year-end processes. • Support the annual audit, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor queries. • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to obtain and validate financial information. • Undertake ad hoc finance projects and analysis as required.
