Management Accountant West Bromwich | £40,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits | Hybrid Working Are you a part qual/qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career with a global manufacturing business? My client is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team based in West Bromwich. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making and driving continuous improvements across the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international business where you'll work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to multiple entities and contribute to the ongoing success of the organisation. The Role As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: • Producing weekly and monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss reporting, variance analysis and business performance commentary. • Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities. • Managing the Fixed Asset Register, including capital expenditure, depreciation and asset accounting. • Producing cash flow forecasts and supporting effective cash management. • Completing intercompany reconciliations and foreign exchange revaluations. • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process. • Preparing accruals, prepayments and month-end journals. • Managing VAT returns, tax reporting and statutory requirements for international entities. • Supporting internal and external audits. • Participating in annual stock counts and inventory reconciliations. • Providing guidance and support to the Accounts Payable team. • Building strong relationships with operational stakeholders to provide commercial financial insight. • Identifying opportunities to improve financial reporting, processes and internal controls.
