Management Accountant

This is a varied role suited to a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced software and technology environment, can manage both routine accounting activities and ad-hoc reporting requests, and is confident liaising with stakeholders in the UK and overseas. Client Details An organisation based in Weybridge, operating within the fintech industry. Description • Support the monthly management accounts process, including reconciliations, ledger reviews, variance analysis and maintaining accurate financial records. • Assist with Group reporting to Head Office, including financial submissions, analysis and responding to finance queries. • Support post-IPO reporting, IFRS requirements and Group reporting adjustments. • Review monthly payroll, pensions and assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting and reforecasting. • Provide support across core finance processes, including invoicing, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, expenses and credit card controls. • Assist with year-end audits, statutory accounts, tax computations and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and internal controls. • Identify process improvements and support ad hoc finance projects and wider team activities. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: • A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree. • Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
