Management Accountant

Kenneth Brian Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing business that is growing through acquisition. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will gain exposure to multi-entity management accounting, acquisitions, group reporting, statutory accounting and business integration, whilst working closely with an experienced CFO who is passionate about developing talent. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone making either their first move from practice into industry, or an accountant already in industry looking to accelerate their development. The role You'll support the Finance Director across a broad range of finance activities, including: • Preparing multi-entity management accounts and statutory accounts • Supporting year-end audit • Managing multiple legal entities • Assisting with acquisition accounting and business integrations • Perform balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare, post and review monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and deferred income • Manage Fixed Asset Register, including additions, disposals and depreciation • Deliver month end processes to agreed timelines • Assist with preparation of VAT returns • Support the external audit process, liaising with auditors and providing required information • Support team in transactional accounting activities, where required • Improving financial controls and processes • Working closely with senior finance leadership on a variety of projects About you We're looking for someone who is: • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified • Technically strong • Commercially curious and keen to understand how businesses operate • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities • Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment • Looking for genuine career progression
