Job description

We are working with a highly respected and growing organisation that is looking to appoint a Management Reporting Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys producing meaningful management information and partnering with the wider business to influence decision-making. Rather than simply producing numbers, you'll play a key role in delivering insightful reporting that helps drive operational performance. You'll be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting, while working closely with operational managers to help them understand financial performance, identify trends and make informed commercial decisions. The role offers plenty of exposure across the business, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders and become a trusted business partner. We're keen to speak with candidates who have: • Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts. • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insight. • Confidence communicating financial information to operational and non-finance managers. • Excellent Excel skills and experience working with management reporting packs and KPIs. • A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge, influence and improve reporting processes. Experience within financial services or another FCA-regulated environment would be advantageous, but it is not essential. More important is your ability to produce high-quality management reporting, work collaboratively across the business and communicate financial information in a clear and practical way. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative business that genuinely values its finance team, offers a flexible working environment and provides the chance to make a visible impact on business performance.
