Job description

Manufacturing Engineer - Automation Competitive Salary + Training + Progression Strood (Commutable from: Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone) Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with PLC and robotics experience looking for a site-based role where you can drive continuous improvement and develop your skills long-term? On offer is a varied role with strong progression, hands-on capital project work, and the opportunity to play a key part in optimizing automated production processes. This is a growing, well-established manufacturing business with a strong focus on continuous improvement, investment in new automation, and developing their engineering team through internal training and long-term progression opportunities. In this role, you will be improving automated workflows, programming PLCs and robotic systems, and supporting capital investment projects. You'll also troubleshoot equipment, analyse production data from Andon systems, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives across the site while working closely with cross-functional teams. This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with PLC and robotics experience looking for progression, development, and the opportunity to make a real impact on a live production facility.
