MTrec’s New Opportunity: MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in the Samlesbury area, with their plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing essential works on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the site day to day. The role will be working a permanent day shift- 07:30 – 15:45 Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 14:30 Friday Apply now for an immediate response! The Job You’ll Do: • Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service • Working to agreed planned maintenance schedules to perform essential work on the production machinery. • Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system. • Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site • Customer liaison and assisting in meetings • Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety About You: • Experienced of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment. • Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible. • The ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision. • Previous experience within a similar position. • This is a ‘hands on’ position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision. • Must be PC literate. • Have excellent communication skills
