Manufacturing Operator Location: Inchinnan, Paisley Duration: Full Time - Immediate Start Available Salary: £13.20 per hour + 25% shift allowance (£16.50 per hour equivalent) Are you reliable, hands-on and looking for an opportunity to develop a career within manufacturing? We're looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join a busy and supportive production team in Paisley. Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or are looking to take your first step into the industry, full training will be provided. You'll play an important role in producing high-quality products within a cleanroom environment, working as part of a team that is committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement. The Role As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be responsible for supporting the production process and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Working within a cleanroom environment, you'll follow detailed instructions and procedures, safely operate equipment and help ensure production targets are achieved. What's in it for you? • Competitive pay with a 25% shift allowance • Full training provided • Opportunity to gain valuable manufacturing experience • Supportive team environment • Structured onboarding and ongoing development • Modern cleanroom workplace • Immediate start available Shift Pattern This role follows a rotating weekly shift pattern: • Week 1: Early Shift, 6:00am to 2:00pm • Week 2: Night Shift, 10:00pm to 6:00am • Week 3: Back Shift, 2:00pm to 10:00pm 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities • Assemble components and products following work instructions and procedures • Read and follow manufacturing documentation accurately • Carry out visual quality inspections throughout the production process • Complete production records and documentation accurately • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently • Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets • Identify and escalate any quality or safety concerns • Participate in continuous improvement activities What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who are: • Reliable and punctual • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Able to follow instructions and processes accurately • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality • Strong team players with a positive attitude • Willing to learn new skills and take on responsibility Desirable Experience Previous experience in any of the following would be beneficial: • Manufacturing • Production • Assembly work • Warehousing • Quality inspection • Machine operation However, experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Working Environment You'll be working in a controlled cleanroom environment where safety and quality are a top priority.
