An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a leading events business, taking ownership of the marketing strategy for one of the UK's largest and most recognised consumer exhibitions.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead the planning and delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive visitor attendance, ticket sales and brand engagement. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the future growth of a flagship live event.
The RoleAs Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and partnership channels. This is a fast-paced position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and delivering integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Driving visitor acquisition, retention and engagement through CRM and audience segmentation.
• Managing campaigns across email, website, paid digital, social media, PR, TV, radio and press.
• Building relationships with sponsors, media partners, ambassadors, influencers and third-party partners.
• Managing external agencies including creative, digital, PR and media buying.
• Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and CRM data, providing insight and recommendations.
• Leading the onsite marketing delivery during the live event.
• Managing website content, SEO and digital assets.
• Collaborating with Sales, Operations, PR and Event teams to deliver commercial objectives.
• Contributing fresh ideas to support the continued growth and evolution of the event.
About YouWe're looking for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns and thrives in a fast-moving events environment.
You'll ideally have:
• At least 5 years' experience in event marketing or a similar senior marketing role.
• Proven success delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Experience managing PR activity and developing strategic partnerships.
• Strong digital marketing knowledge, including Google Analytics, CRM platforms, CMS and email marketing systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to optimise campaigns using data.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlines.
• Content creation and copywriting experience.
• A proactive, creative and commercially minded approach.
Marketing qualifications such as CIM or IDM would be advantageous but are not essential.
