Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of all marketing activity across brand, digital and ecommerce within a growing homeware business. You will be responsible for driving online sales, generating leads, improving website performance and managing a small marketing team. This is a varied role covering digital marketing, content, ecommerce development and brand activity, working closely with senior leadership and external partners. What you will do • Own and deliver the full marketing strategy • Manage the marketing budget and track performance against targets • Drive lead generation and online sales growth • Support the development and ongoing improvement of an ecommerce website • Work with developers and external agencies to improve website performance, user experience and conversion rates • Manage SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing and social media activity • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches • Create and oversee content for social media and email marketing • Monitor website and campaign performance using data and analytics • Manage product marketing materials including catalogues, brochures and POS assets • Coordinate trade shows and events from planning through to delivery • Lead and develop a small marketing team • Report on performance and key marketing metrics to senior leadership What we are looking for • Strong experience in a hands-on marketing role within a product or retail environment • Experience managing or supporting an ecommerce website • Good understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, paid social and email marketing • Experience working with external agencies, developers and creative partners • Commercial mindset with a focus on performance and results • Experience managing or mentoring a small team • Confident using data to improve marketing performance • Strong communication and project management skills Desirable • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento • Knowledge of UX, CRO and website optimisation • Experience in home, lifestyle or interiors products • Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools • Exposure to international marketing
