Job Title: Maths Teacher Area: Newham, East London Start Date: September 2026, Interview & Trial Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (13-weeks) Salary: Paid to scale, dependant on full-time experience Working hours: 08:20 - 16:00, Early finish Friday About the school: This Secondary Academy is a well-regarded, mixed secondary school located in Stratford, East London. Age 11 - 16. About the role: You will deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities to develop confidence and problem-solving skills. Key stage 5 teaching preferred but not necessary. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: • Plan and deliver high quality Maths lessons • Support student progress and attainment • Differentiate learning to meet individual needs • Contribute to the wider Maths department Requirements - The ideal candidate would have: • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent • Strong subject knowledge in Maths • Experience teaching in a secondary setting • A commitment to raising achievement Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
