Job description

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Maths Teacher to work across a range of excellent secondary schools in North London. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is passionate about Maths and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, and schools are able to provide supportive environments for teachers at the beginning of their careers, alongside opportunities for experienced practitioners. The successful candidate will be able to motivate, inspire, and challenge students to produce high-quality work while maintaining high academic expectations. The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have a proven history of securing excellent pupil outcomes in Maths , including at GCSE level. • Be capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love of learning. • Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills. • Be a dynamic and ambitious practitioner who is committed to driving student progress. • Have experience supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural, and academic needs. • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Experience, Training and Qualifications • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting. • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum. • Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential). To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must: • Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all relevant compliance and vetting checks. • Hold the Right to Work in the UK. • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one. • Provide two professional references relating to work with children.
