Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented, and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful secondary school from September 2026 on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about mathematics and committed to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential. The successful candidate will inspire a love of learning, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to the continued success of a supportive and ambitious Mathematics department. About the Role The successful candidate will: • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners. • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively. • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and student achievement. • Contribute to the wider life of the school community. The Successful Candidate Will Have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics. • High expectations of student achievement and behaviour. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young people. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
